Family Life

“My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart, for they will prolong your life many years and bring you peace and prosperity. Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart.” – Proverbs 3:1-3

This life is crazy: Weird hours, long shifts, and sometimes gone for days on end. This is why priorities matter so much, especially for first responders. We have to fight to make sure that those at home always come before those “on the job.” We’re called to always keep our own houses in order, serve our families first, and make sure that our spouses and kids get our first fruits, rather than just our left overs. But that’s easier said than done, isn’t it? Join us as we thread this needle together, striving to keep our priorities Godly and our families holy.
